Vers ma biographie en français
Eric Pringels (born 1971, Brussels) is a Swiss-Belgian artist, photographer, digital product designer, and innovation facilitator based in Marseille, France. His career spans from print and graphic design to UX/UI product design, scenography, and documentary photography. He is best known for co-initiating Marseille 2013 Off, an alternative program to the European Capital of Culture, and for Yes We Camp, a participatory urban camping project that later became an international reference. Alongside his design and cultural initiatives, he has exhibited photographic series in Europe and is currently pursuing research into phygital experiences and object design (3D printing, digital fabrication).
Early life and education
Pringels was born in Brussels in 1971 to a family of painters and typographic composers. He studied architecture at the Université Libre de Bruxelles before shifting toward graphic design and later digital product design.
